Have to vent!

So in between the internet popping in and out today, I noticed that there have been more than 500 bucks in fraudulent transactions on my bank card. AND, of course, it's Sunday, so the things that I can do about it, other than stew are about nothing! I did find out that the person bought a Garmin on Walmart's website and had it shipped. I have the name and address that it went to.

Stress headache has found my address! So frustrated. GRRRRRR!

I hope you get it taken care of quickly. The stress is almost as bad as the actual invasion. Good luck.

Thanks so much! I finally got in touch with a former student that works at my bank. She helped a ton and relieved some of my fears and stress. It just makes me wonder how many other details of my life this leach has in their possession.

Wow how awful! Makes you wonder how people get hold of your details and what they could do with them before you find out. I hope you managed to minimise the damage and hopefully the person can be traced via the address that was found.

I just had to close my most used credit card a few days ago - someone tried to use it at Western Union for $971. And this is the card I got six month ago after someone ordered $470 of Nordstrom Direct. Put a fraud alert on your credit info at the credit reporting bureaus. And check your info as well, make sure it's all accurate.
