the carb debate

aside from 3 days in the past 7 weeks that were way off, ive been doing pretty well at sticking to my Macros everyday, but as ive said before- my weight loss is at a loss crawl, and often stalls for several weeks.
while i know carbs are important and i know better than to attempta long term low-carb plan, do you think a week or two of a much lower, healthy carb intake would help boost a loss- or should i not bother?
and if you think its a good idea, i dont know if i should aim for <120g, <100g, or something stricter.
thoughts?

if you are keeping overall calories the same then no, I don't see it making any difference to FAT loss (note, not scale weight).
If you are using reducing carbs to reduce overall calories, then yes but only because you are creating a larger deficit not because of any magical properties of carb reduction.
if your weight loss is stalling for weeks at a time it might be better to have a look at overall intake/exercise rather than focus just on how many carbs you are eating.0 -

Great post. Your carb intake looks totally normal to me.
Having said that, to expand on what's mentioned here about overall intake/exercise, what are you shooting for daily? I took a look at your diary but honestly it's a bit all over the place. It looks like you're netting 1200-1500 most of the time, with lots of swings in both directions (some days 1000+ over, some days netting as little as essentially 0). Is that enough for the amount of exercise you do? Are you calculating your calorie burns and your intake correctly? Just some thoughts...0 -

this week i had 2 days that were way over- first time in weeks that i did that. normally i eat between 1600-1800 cals (gross), and work out 5days a week. i try to eat in that range regardless of my workout.0 -
