Kale Chips

Kale Chips
Prep time: 15 minutes / Cook time: 10 minutes
What you’ll need
1 bunch of kale
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Variations (choose one):
½ teaspoon sea salt
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar and ½ teaspoon sea salt (for salt and vinegar chips)
½ teaspoon cinnamon, ½ teaspoon sugar, ½ teaspoon Splenda (for kettle chips)
½ teaspoon sea salt and 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
What to do
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Wash and thoroughly dry kale. Tear into bite-sized pieces and place in gallon size zip-top bag.
3. Pour 1 tablespoon of olive oil into bag and shake until kale is thoroughly coated.
4. Add favorite seasonings from list above and shake until evenly distributed.
5. Spread chips on foil-lined cookie sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Edges should be brown, but not burned.
Makes: 6 servings
