Did you know?

I gave up drinking regular soda in my twenties. I'm now in my fifties. I figured I'd rather eat my calories than drink them.
So I switched to diet soda, and started using artificial sweeteners in my coffee. It seems I shoulda not used the artificials either.
Nothing was ever really sweet enough, and I never lost my craving for the extra sweet stuff.
After my last visit to the Dr, when he told me insulin may be in my future I have re examined my eating habits. I have stopped using artificial sweeteners altogether now.
Did you know that apples are naturally sweet? What a surprise! I've been dousing them in splenda for years and adding cinnamon. Who knew?
Coffee is a challenge though. I'll get used to drinking it black, or with my Almond Breeze unsweetend chocolat almond milk.
You can take my coffe away when... um, no, you can't take my coffee away.
