I was doing The Plan but it became too hard for a working mom to maintain so I gave up. I'm looking for another program/book to buy. Anyone doing one that is helping with the belly fat?

I'm also doing Turbo Fire but haven't lost any lbs but I can tell that my mid is toning up a bit. Just have to keep at it. I'm only on week 2.

I am a believer of the "draining pool theory". I read it somewhere and it resonated with me. It likens losing weight to draining a swimming pool. The water across the entire pool drains at the same rate, but the shallow end empties much sooner than the deep end. So your problem areas are your deep ends (stomach!) and your shallow ends are the areas that seem to look good the fastest and weren't bad to begin with (legs!). The only thing that will empty the deep ends is just continuing to drain the entire pool.

It's a long winded analogy to say that nothing you choose will fix the belly sooner than something else. So find a plan that works for you and the way you live and stick to it until it finally gets around to flattening your middle.

I eat 1700 calories a day with 40% carbs, 30% fat, 30% protein, or as close to that as I can get. No special plan beyond that.
