switching it up

after almost 2 months of lifting 4 days per week (2 upper, 2 lower) with 10-20min of cardio on those days + 1 day of longer cardio and abs- i think i should switch it up a bit.
i ordered NROL4W, but it wont be delivered for another few days, and then im going to take the time to read it all.
in the meantime, im thinking of switching to a 1-hr full body workout 3x a week of what i think are some of the best full-body exercises (trying for mainly/all compound exercises) with 2 cardio/abs days in between.
thoughts on the following routine? (im thinking the same exercises, but increasing the weight whenever i can manage it)
- squats (barbell, goblet, others- this i can vary, and maybe do 2 types each kind)
- deadlifts
- pushups
- bench press
- clean and press and/or OHP
- rows or reverse grip bent over rows
- (assisted) pull ups/chin ups
- lunges
- (assisted) dips
- lat pulldown
- weighted step ups
as always, thanks in advance for your opinion! you guys are wonderful!

all in the same workout? That would take much longer than an hour to do properly.
I would just stick to what you are doing unless there is some specific need to change it, what makes you think you need to 'switch it up?'0 -

I realized that after- I would probably turn that into two workouts or sub the different workouts for the same body part
I have def gotten a lot stronger- but I don't physically see results (partially because of some
Diet mess ups- I'm working on it)- but I thought a change to compound workouts would help?0 -

If you think this switch may be a good idea- I was thinking of rotating maybe these two routines:
Workout 1--
- squats - Barbell
- push-ups
- deadlifts
- bench press
- (assisted) dips
- lunges
--Workout 2--
- OHP
-weighted step ups
- rows
- (assisted) pull ups/chin ups
-goblet squats
- lat pulldown0 -
I would not bother changing to be honest, but if you want to, you can do something more like this:
- squats
- deadlifts
- bench press
- OHP
- rows or reverse grip bent over rows
- weighted step ups0 -
If you think this switch may be a good idea
If what you are doing is working then I don't really TBH.
You have only been doing that routine for 8 weeks which is no time at all, most of the time when you switch to a new routine you spend the first 2 or 3 sessions working out the correct weights to use/set up for any new movements so it's time wasted really.but I don't physically see results (partially because of some
Diet mess ups- I'm working on it)
^ probably the bigger issue.0 -
If it's just a few days or a week before you start a new program, I don't see a point in putting thought into a short term routine that might last 3 days.0

I don't have much to add but I agree with all of the aboveIf it's just a few days or a week before you start a new program, I don't see a point in putting thought into a short term routine that might last 3 days.
^ And this too.0 -
thanks for the feedback everyone.
i was trying to switch it up because I'm not really following a set routine- 4 days of lifting upper or lower- and I vary the exercises and increase the weights whenever I can.
I've def gotten stronger but I thought changing it to a real routine of only compound exercises would be more beneficial- esp since those exercises are used a lot in NWOL4W. (now i feel like such a novice - lol).0
