Aw, that is so sweet of you to say. :) Jennifer what are you doing at the gym? We started to notice that this is almost an entire workout in itself. Lol

Chris I am still laughing. :P

Shelley, is laughing considered ab exercising?? If so...

Thank you for the nice words, Jennifer! Glad you're having fun.

Took today off. On one hand, I could shop without having to rip through it but, on the other, I knew there was something missing...Okay, just don't tell anybody I said that!

I have to go find my pillow now...

I hope you both have a great Friday. I get off at 10:00 a.m. and will walk w/ my daughter and her puppy. happy! happy! happy!

Jennifer...great workouts! I do girlie push-ups too, and I have to modify the jumping Jacks. I figure as long as we're moving and sweating...oh, wait, girls don't sweat...we glisten...we are doing good. I'll walk w/my daughter today and finish all my challenges this evening.

    Have a terrific Friday!

Wow Jennifer great going. I probably would skip the jacks all together if you are doing this right after your cardio. They are just more cardio anyways. :) You keep doing them pushups though. Soon you will be on your toes. :) Exactly what is BoxMania?

Chris I was told I "glow". I must glow in buckets then! LOL

Well today I did the week with 15 burpees again. I did everything with great form and all pushups on my toes! Woohoo. I went through both sets with hardly a pause! So proud of myself. :) That was 70 pushups done correctly! I can not believe I did them all. I am walking at lunch time with a friend and tonight I am going to do those ab exercises just for you Chris. :) LOL Oh walking the dogs also tonight. Should be a full day. :) Have fun on your walk tonight. :)

Chris it must be nice to walk with your daughter...I walk with my 4 & 6 yo and it's not that relaxing or enjoyable. LOL My older son lives too far away to have his company.

Shelley all I can say is WOW! 3 burpees are kicking my butt and then all those push-ups. WOW WOW WOW!

Here is a link: check it out. http://boxmania.org/

    Have a fantastic Friday!

    Jennifer,

There were several that I saw. Not sure which I was supposed to watch. Still a little confused. But I like punching and kicking and it is a great cardio. I bet I would like it. :)

I got to walk with my daughter for an hour then we went to Olive Garden for lunch. Then I came home and tackled all my challenges for today!! I tried to do 10 regular JJ's and then 10 modified...10 reg...10 modified...until I hit 65 JJ's. The second set was all modified. I think my knees are still thinking about it! I'll know tomorrow. I spent 65 minutes on my challenges today.

Shelley...glowing is good too!! Yeah, I did buckets of glisten this afternoon...wasn't pretty! bwahaha!

Jennifer...just wanted you to know that burpees are NOT on our "These are my favorite exercises" list.

Well, ladies, Have a wonderful Friday evening.

You know Chris with all the cardio you do maybe JJ, just are not for you. No sense in killing your knees. Maybe some sort of a punching upper body cardio instead? I am sure you can come up with something that will give you the cardio aspect and just as tough. Not that they are all that tough. Just knee killers.

Oh the walk and lunch sounded wonderful. :) Great job tackling the challenge after such a relaxing lunch. I probably would have skipped it. Lol

And you want to know a secret, do not tell anyone, but I am starting to like burpees. Shhh, not love mind you. And only starting. No way would I have said that a month ago. LoOK

Did you see that insane burpees challenge? Something about doing thousands in April!

You are right, Shelley. I went back to my modified JJs. I need to stay within my limits. Today's challenge went very smooth and quick!

Okay, my turn to laugh until I fall out of my chair!! I'm not even a little bit close to liking burpees...it's a good thing that small children and old ladies aren't around to hear me cuss a blue streak!

Walked with Bean this morning. We did 4.23 miles in 62 minutes. He's a great walking partner! Then finished all my challenges. It's been a pretty great day!

I saw that same challenge... my thought...:noway: ...and that they were very crazy! crazy!

SO and I are taking Bean back over to the school to throw the ball around and play!

Glad to hear it. Lucky Bean. Any pup who gets to walk all the time is lucky. And they are such good dogs. They are not bored. Boredom makes them "bad". People ask us all the time how we get ours to behave. They love us is my response. :)

I can not believe you can cuss like that. Lol. And now that I am only doing the 15 burpees week they are very doable. I so wanted to skip today. I really had to convince myself to do it. So I finally got it done. Twice. Followed by about 4 minutes of abs. All on my toes again. And once I started doing them I was able to just cruise through them. Should have done them hours ago. Lol

We took our boys to the park and walked them for almost an hour. I have no idea of the distance. They have short legs and Oscar has his own agenda. Lol

You, Sue and Bean have a great day. :)

Well I got up early this morning. I knocked out the session with the 15 burpees twice again. Getting easier all the time. :) Then I did a few minutes of abs again. Found out they were sore from the little I did yesterday! LOL, who would have guessed right? I went and saw Jurassic Park in 3D. Love that show. :) Got my shopping all done and went out for Chinese lunch. There is a place that has a fairly low calorie broccoli and chicken dish. Lots of both. :) Finished the early afternoon off with a 30 minute walk with all the boys. Lots of tail wagging there. :) Now laundry time and just plain old relaxing. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Love the idea of adding in abs! I'll have to screen capture that on my iPod so I can add them in!

I am seeing a lot of improvement with this as my consistent thing, and it's great for cross training with the treadmill. I love that there are no lunges. Jillian was the death of my already recovering knees with the weighted lunges. My abs look SO much better than a month ago! Can't wait for the next month!

I started a basic 8 pound kettlebell tonight for some core/ab work. Enjoyed the mix-up.

Spring Break week here! Half pound from my "lowest I've ever seen it and have never seen it since" weight. LOL. Proud! See you guys next week! Welcome to all the newbies!

Well, I got in 4 miles w/my daughter and Bean this morning. She is in her best friend's wedding in October, and they both needed dresses for a trip to Las Vegas with the wedding party...we had to go shopping. We went to the REALLY, REALLY big mall...where I can't go by myself because I have a direction dysfunction and the tendency to get lost...and got three beautiful Las Vegas style dresses. I didn't get home until 9:00 p.m., and I'm afraid I'm not going to get the challenge done today. We had the best time! I'll do three sets tomorrow and three sets Tuesday to make up missing today. We did a total of 8 miles and 17,287 steps! To be able to spend 12 hours with my daughter was the most terrific gift!

    See you guys tomorrow.

    I'm baaaaaaack!

I actually missed not doing this workout the last three days. : ( I was hosting my daughters 4th birthday (Garden Party) and just didn't make time for myself. However, on Friday I managed 16,481 steps, Saturday 12,832 steps and on the day of the Party I put in 20,391 steps. Then I tripped over a toy and fell on my face in front of everyone. So embarrassing!
Today I will be back at it and there will be NO girlie pushups because of my skinned up knee…I look like one of my little kids. Hope everyone has a great day!
