Okay, I don't want go of the wagon on Easter. I think there will be ham, veggies (canned), potatoes, etc. Suggestions without making my own Easter dinner. I don't want to eat ham (though love the flavor!). I know the salt with cause weight gain for sure. Thanks!

Omigosh I am scared of easter too. it will be white bread sandwiches with egg salad and chips. seriously. and chocolate. My hubby's family are terrible eaters. so here's my plan: I am getting the girls to make boiled easter eggs and I am going to bring them, and I am cracking open two boiled eggs and eating them, with some veggies on the side. I am beyond caring what they think.

I have lunch, but sounds like you have dinner. Any chance you are allowed to bring a dish? Like some protein thing? I think if you could do that and make sure you take a tiny sampling of everything else on the table, you could get away with not insulting anyone. If bringing something is considered "weird" then you may just have to try and get some extra exercise that day, flush with a lot of water, and move on.

    Good luck!!!!!
