100 is not bad, but...

Hmmm... Had a total of 27 grams of carbs for breakfast and lunch. A little surprised that two hours after eating, my glucose meter is reading 100. Was hoping for something in the mid eighties to low nineties. Have to think about it...

Whether 100 is "good" or "bad" really depends on where you where before breakfast or lunch. If you were at 95 and then 100, then your lunch menu was a keeper. If you were at 70 before lunch and then 100 ... still not bad, but there may be room for some tweaking if you're so inclined

I can have the exact same meal and my bg level will range from 85-105. This is not an exact science.

I was at 100 before breakfast, too. But that's higher than I have been the last month. for the past 30 days, I have averaged 88. Still getting used to all this, I guess.

The most aggravating thing with diabetes for me is how everything affects blood glucose. If I have a head cold, higher numbers. An injury can cause higher numbers. Medications or any unusual stress on the system can cause higher numbers.

Yes, it's a bit of a mystery to me. But I am back down to 85 - 90 again, so I guess it was just an anomoly.
