Not eating enough & exercising to much

Hi, I havent been eating 1200 cals.for 3 weeks(maybe 3 days I went over).. exercising 6 days a week Elliptical & treadmill,,,Burn around 450 cal a day doing this... So today I am upping calories to at least 1500.. Last week I gained 4 oz. which isnt alot but I think I should have lost unless I have messed my system up... I bought a Fitbit...Any advise...Thank you, Marcia :sad:

    If you want to do aerobics, I recommend interval training. They may have a program built into your machines for hills or intervals.

    Also, if you're not losing weight on a given calorie amount, eating more calories is certainly not going to help. You need to eat less!

    Start again with 1200 but weigh and measure all your foods, avoid dining out (not because it's bad, just because it tends to be hard to estimate calories) and be as accurate and honest on your food record as possible. Also bump up your protein to be about 1g per lb of bodyweight.
