Day 44: 3/27
Today was a work Health Assessment. HAD to get weighed, also got BF% (up 5% from last year), BMI (up 1), Cholesterol (good), Blood Pressure (good), nonfasting glucose (really good) and some other things. I've lost one pound during this 40 day challenge. I am hoping more for inches.
Tonight I am going to the gym to run. I had an assessment done with my running shoes. Pretty much the shoes I have are garbage for me. Well, well, well. I should probably toss these suckers and drop the $110 on the ones that would be best for me. Especially since I have terrible knee pain and plan on continuing running in my future. Also suggested PT because my left side (hip/leg/knee) is really weak. Good news- Health Insurance would cover this!!

Is anyone else getting impatient waiting for spring to arrive? I'm in WI and it's still in the 30's! I want to be active outdoors! Come on Mother Nature!!

Sounds like you did well at the Health Assessment. And congrats on the one pound! I'm in a challenge with my family for a 5% loss by the end of the month. The boys have already met the 5%...us girls...well, not quite. Still four days to go though!
I go through walking shoes like they were cheap!!! Ha! I have to get new ones about every four or five months because my knees start hurting. I've been side-lined because I wasn't careful and managed to do something dumb to my knees. I modify my exercises and can't jog or run.
I'm lucky I live in California! The sun was shining this afternoon, but the wind was up. I walked three miles with my daughter and her b'friend. After 20 mins the cool wind was great!
60 mins walking three miles
65 mins on challenges
Seems I've pulled a muscle in my back...under my left shoulder blade. Pushups and planks are out for a while.
Four weeks and spring will be here!
