Hoping someone can help... I started on this journey about a month ago. I was about 150 when I started and I've been looking to get down a pants size for ... well... quite some time...shooting for about 145. I have been there and I was VERY comfortable. I did initially lose about 5 lbs (155 to 150) on low cal and well.. you know the result. STALL. SOOO I decided that I needed to be healthy blah blah blah. Anyway, I've been back up at about 155 now for a month and not sure where to go next. I slowly upped my calories starting at 1600 now up to around 2000 which is my TDEE-15% cut. Do I just continue to wait it out? I have also been doing the p90x weight lifting 3 days per week videos and mixing up my cardio 2 days per week.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Ok, first congrats for eating more:-)

Did you take measurements and pics? Sometimes the scale may go up, but inches down.

How long did you do VLCD? You may want to consider doing a metabolism reset (Tdee for 8-12wks). If not then, I suggest eating TDEE for a week and then going back to cut again but try 10% this time for four weeks.

Thanks for your reply and insight. Yes, my measurements have remained the same. There are some days that I SWEAR I'm about a quarter of an inch smaller around my hips and waist but it could just be error from where I place the tape. Also... I really don't like the scale. I weighed myself again today at the same time as I did yesterday, on the same scale, in the same clothes and I was 2.5 lbs lighter! So...I think it's safe to say that the scale really doesn't determine much! :) Maybe I will try a one week reset and see what happens. I ate on more of a zig zag. I would have a few days of really low calorie days and then have some higher calorie days. I was really low only for a few months.
