Fruits like bananas and pears are a good snack. Nuts are also a good idea, if you have trouble reaching your calorie goal

thank you so much. when I began I was eating 700-800 under calories so I am working on changing my undereating habits. I am brand new to eating. the more help and advice on what to do the better. I was eating between 1,000-1,100 calories so upping mine to 700 more and trying to retrain me is going to be a work and progress

Took a look, I know you were eating low before, but your still eating way under your goal and your really lacking in the protein department. Protein along with healthy fiber's will help you feel full longer.. that will reduce those binge eating habits you said you have.
In your profile it says you weigh 180, so I would slowly start increasing your calories to your goal and meeting that number.. so no green as too big of a deficit hurts your progress. Also I would aim for 150+ protein daily, I see in there you have a chicken item that has 0 protein, I highly doubt that so make sure things you are logging are actually correct. All in all increase your portion sizes (protein, veggies) and start eating fruit.. basically your are still pretty much under eating and I know its difficult to eat more but in the long run it does work..
Also I would measure your BF% and record that as you lose weight as well to make sure its not just muscle your losing.

okay thanks will do. what percentage of grams is 150g for my protein since mfp doesn't let me set it to grams?

so what start should I do with my calories for my increase? should I go back to scoobysworkshop.com to see what this would be.

once you set daily goal, next to the 5% ranges are the grams that would work out to.

I have started My reset and I have not experienced the "Bloat" nor had a problem filling My calories. I am, however surprised at many who have a problem eating Well/Healthful just because they upped their caloric intake. Anyway, I go to nuts and seeds (cashews, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pistachios). I might throw some in cereal, apple sauce, on sweet potatoes, even throw a handful (ground or chunked) in ground turkey or on green salads or in chicken and tuna salads. I even create My own Trail Mix (with nuts/seeds and anything I want like, raisins, dried cranberries, dried banana chips, some chex or honey nut cherrios).

Cashews are the KALE of nuts, Sunflower Seeds are the Broccoli of seeds, and Walnuts and Pistachio are the Spinach; ALL are the Wild Caught Salmon of seeds and nuts! I thought, "WOW, how in the World am I going to eat 2240 calories per day AND feel light and good!!!?" THEN it hit Me, EAT those extra cashews and nuts I crave, get WHACKY with it! YEAH!
