Very cool! There are actually a lot of older lifters like this out there, and all of them are an inspiration. I've seen many 65+ lifters at comps I've done over the years. They get a lot of support from the other lifters, as do the novices. Powerlifting is one sport where everyone helps each other. Even though you are competing against others in your weight/age division, the bottom line is you are competing against yourself, and all the lifters know that, so there is no ego or malice towards anyone else. A great sport.0
