Suffering from the "reset bloat"?

I just started doing my reset yesterday and the bloat already got me...... UNTIL.... you ready for this? I drank my apple cider vinegar drink. You may say "Yuck!!!" but it really isn't that bad. I had been drinking it off and on for stomach upset, water retention and BLOAT. It clicked with me this morning to give it a try and see if it helped. Well it did!!! Yayyy!!! My stomach is feeling much better at the moment and I just had to share it with this wonderful group of people. It's a very simple recipe and easy to prepare... so here it is:

8 oz spring water (I heat mine up. For some reason I cannot stomach the ACV drink cold)

1-2 Tbsp Bragg's organic raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar w/mother (I use 2 Tbsp since I am used to it)

1 Tbsp honey

You can drink it before, during or after a meal. I've done all three :)

I hope this will help others with their uncomfortable bloating issues... and I hope it continues to help me.

It can't hurt to try it :) I really hope others get the same results since I have seen so many having the bloat issue.

I am doing the reset and have never eaten as much (it seems) in My whole Life as now...but I know that ain't so. My question is: Are you eating healthful? I'm NOT into feeling full or eating a lot of foods that will give Me calories but will flair My allergies or raise the pain that I have worked so hard to reduce. Just a few suggestions that work for Me.

I am not experiencing any bloat or discomfort, maybe because of what I choose to eat. I changed My diet around a good while ago, that is when I began to lose weight (I have lost over 150 lbs. in about 2 yrs.). I also have arthritis in a hip so I changed what I eat to reduce pain and other health benefits. I eat only fish and poultry as meats, no dairy, I eat a lot of beans, seeds and nuts, and every morning I begin My day with a giant glass of FRESH Juiced Fruit and/or Veggie Juice with fresh juiced ginger root (ginger is GREAT for pain reduction AND Any stomach problem and Digestion!). Anytime I need to fill calories I go to nuts and seeds (cashews, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pecans, pistachios). I might throw some in cereal, apple sauce, on sweet potatoes, even throw a handful (ground or chunked) in ground turkey or on salads. I even create My own Trail Mix (with nuts/seeds and anything I want like, raisins, dried cranberries, dried banana chips, some chex or honey nut cherrios).

ETA: You mentioned ACV; I take a tablespoonful every morning, been doing that for years...great!

I do eat healthy, mostly organic. I rarely, if ever, eat at a restaurant. Most of my meals are prepared from home (and they are not from the make it quick processed food). The only reason I WAS suffering from bloat is from eating so much... my body isn't used to that anymore. Same food...just a lot bigger serving. I am not suffering from any bloat today at all. But if I do, I can quarantee I am going to grab my ACV...lol

BTW.... great job on your weight-loss :)

Do you have to do the Honey.. I usually take a Tablespoon of Honey every Morn.. i was drinking the applecider vinegar(does it have to be unfiltered) & 8 oz of water but stopped.. think I will try it again.. Every meal Yes or No

As you likely know, water gain is pretty common. I am at 2 weeks 1 day after a 2 week reset period. In the first 2 days of the reset/break I gained 2 lb. and over the course of 2 weeks "gained" 6.6 pounds. Now, at the end of the two weeks since, I have "lost" all but .6 lb and that is eating more than I was eating before! But since my reset was relatively short I just tried not to worry about it :-)

You don't have to do the honey, it just makes it easier for me to drink :) You can drink it up to 3 times a day if you want to but you don't have to take it with every meal. I have been drinking it when I feel uncomfortably bloated.
