Fat bomb recipes

Does anyone have any recipes for fat bombs that don't involve nuts or sweeteners? (i.e fit the primal concept). Every recipe seems designed for the low carb community rather than the primal/paleo community. Struggling to get enough fat in at the moment so thought these may help.

    Not exactly sure what you mean by a "fat bomb" but here's some of my recent strategies for sneaking some healthy fats in my diet:
    -When I make scrambled eggs in the morning I sneak in about a tablespoon of coconut oil, which adds a really nice flavor
    -I have no problem downing an entire avocado. I can eat them straight up with salt, but I also like mashing them in a bowl with lime juice and cilantro for a single serving of guacamole. I'm sure you could eat them with some carrots sticks but I litterally just eat with a spoon.
    -A big serving of olives! (about a handful)
    -sprinkle shredded coconut on everything, or just eat a handful. I like it in salads, on top of veggies and meats. really I just throw it on stuff for a little extra flavor and fat.
    -I will often dip a hardboiled egg into a plate of olive oil and salt (sort of like dipping bread at an italian restaurant, strangely satisfying to just taste the oil.)
    -When all else fails, I don't think a handful of raw hazelnuts is something to worry about personally. :)

    Is stevia primal friendly? If not, just don't use any!

    1C Nutiva CO
    3/4 Butter
    3/4 Almond butter

    Melt the above ingredients and stir in the following:

    3 TBSP Shredded coconut
    3 TBSP Coco powder

    Optionally sweetened with Stevia to taste.

    I pop them into silicon candy moulds, freeze for 15min and then pop them into a ziplock bag and put them in the fridge. Each one of mine has about 145 calories, 9g fat and >1g carbs

    Most of my fat bombs involve nuts but even just mixing coconut oil, coconut manna, shredded coconut, and then vanilla, or other extracts is something that works for me. You can also add cocao for a "fudge". Yum Some of my recipes will get a dab of maple syrup but some don't. I never use fake sweeteners and I don't like stevia.

    Do you have any paleo, primal recipe books? Most of them will have some treats that will fit the bill, or can easily be modified. Also, I found some great recipes online too. Any added sweeteners are totally optional. But when one serving only has 5 carbs or so, even with some maple syrup, I think it's acceptable. If one uses really dark maple syrup, a tiny bit goes a long way for awesome flavour.

    Thanks everyone for the great ideas and links, will follow up on these. Trying to keep fat bombs as absolutely low carb as possible as I'd rather get my carb intake from vegetables. Recipe books - don't own any as they are all American and I usually can't find half the ingredients :-)

    I use a base of part almond butter & part coconut flour (usually equal parts), but I've also used cream cheese or regular butter. Not necessarily paleo that way (depending on if you do dairy), but could be lower carb. I've never added any sweeteners to mine, just cinnamon, vanilla extract, bits of coconut, etc. Coconut oil would work, too.

    My fat bomb:

    can of coconut milk
    spinach
    little bit of fruit (as the sweetener/flavor) - I normally use a frozen blend with strawberries, peaches, and bananas in it, or whatever's on hand
    lemon-flavored CLO

    Instructions:
    1. Put all ingredients in blender.
    2. VROOOM!
    3. Add more fruit/water as needed for consistency, then VROOOM it again.

    I've been reading through the threads, and apparently what I call a fat bomb (liquid) is not the same as most of you call a fat bomb (solid).

    Thanks Twibbly - I guess most think of fat bombs as those little portable bites of high fat goodness but they aren't the only way. Your liquid idea has my cogs turning...thanks for the inspiration :-)

    "Crack"
    coconut butter (or manna, same thing)
    raw cacao powder
    raw cacao nibs for crunch
    a little raw honey if you want

    Melt the butter/ manna, mix in the rest, to taste... when cool, eat with a spoon... super energy food and quenches my chocolate cravings too!
