Change in Body Composition

I have a question. I've been doing EM2WL for a bit now, and I feel like my body composition has changed. Has anyone else noticed this with their own bodies? I am slightly worried because I feel like my clothes fit differently. I haven't eaten unhealthily or anything like that, yet my pants fit differently. They feel tighter in the legs. Did anyone experience similar body changes? I'm starting to slightly panic because maybe I'm eating too much and not burning enough? Or, is water weight routine when doing more strength training & eating more? Thank you for your help! :flowerforyou:

Could indeed be water retention if you notice it during the 24-48 hrs after lifting, but that would diminish.

If still newbie at lifting you'll make biggest increases in strength, and if you work through existing muscle fast, may add more, even on deficit.

But indeed it could also be true depending on where your eating level is, you may not be getting much if any deficit if you are eating at inflated values.

BMR could be based on inflated value, which means TDEE is higher than reality, and therefore eating goal could have little to no deficit.
Or you picked wrong TDEE level for your activity.

Because you could indeed be getting stronger under fat, but not losing it.
Then again, you can't spot reduce, so you may be losing other places first.

Use the spreadsheet on my profile page for confirmation on your numbers.
