    Good Morning!

Got a last minute call to work yesterday morning at 8:10am! So...that put a wrench in my day, but I will not complain because the extra mula will be nice. haha
Today I will either run on the TM or do a Jillian Michaels workout. Had a glass of wine last evening and woke up in the night with such a headache! Kind of unusual for me, but I hadn't drank as much water as I usually do so maybe it was a dehydration thing.

Anyway, I have a ton of stuff to catch up on around the house, and I need to get at our own bookwork. so off I go. Will check in later!

    Happy Friday!!!!!!!!!!!

maureli, extra mula is definitely a good thing! Uh, and I'm familiar with that headache. Good reminder and incentive for me to stay hydrated, b/c I never know when hubby might bring a nice bottle of wine home.

So, I had a strange morning with my cuddly lil girl either cuddling on me, or spreading her toys all over my workout area. So, no home workout, but I ran at the park--made 3 laps in 22:40. I cut my time down a little...but I kinda cheated, b/c this time I started my lap at the bottom of the hill, which meant that I was super fresh for that first hill. Still working on my form, which is going well (no excruciating shin pain yet) and I would say I huffed-and-puffed alot less than before. Oh, one strange thing is I get "wheezy" during and for a couple hours after. I've never had asthma before, so I thought it was strange. My husband said there is still alot of African dust in Greece (it comes in the Spring and turns the sky and rain red) and it always makes me sneezy and sniffly and apparently wheezy. At least, I hope that's all it is.

So, happy Friday and happy working out (or resting, if it's your rest day)!!

Good morning Everyone! Did Turbo Fire 45EZ, my least favorite DVD of the bunch, although my HRM said I burned 501 cals in 45 minutes, so not too shabby. Hope you all have a wonderful day

TGIF! Whoa mama...Chalene don't play...lol. Did the CLX Lower Body Extreme (41 minutes) working every muscle below the belly button with the use of a 12.5 dumbbell set and resistance tube. After the first 26 minutes, I started having that runny nose syndrome...LOL!! My official fitness week is done but will probably work in the gardens this weekend because our weather is gorgeous....clear skies and temps to be in the 70s! I will definitely claim gardening on my logs if necessary...lol.

Jess: great burn with that workout this morning!

Sherry: you are getting stronger with those runs and glad you suffered NO shin pain.

Maureli: hope that headache was just a passing thing due to dehydration. Enjoy your day and have a great fitness session later on.

    Enjoy the weekend everyone:wink:

I started having that runny nose syndrome...LOL!!

NewagainPam: That is hillarious I know exactly what you mean... been there almost daily

So I am bumping and will get my workout in this evening hopefully early like yesterday.. I was pretty pumped after that workout.. if I didn't have to cook, clean , do my hair etc. I would of worked out more. My boys/husband expect me to cook them a meal...they don't do the quick stuff and are in shock when I suggest it. I have spoiled them so I can blame no one. My sons future wives probably won't forgive me. Hopefully they will choose wisely and someone who loves to cook.

    Till later....keep it up

Hurd: LOL...I had to stop and grab tissues....LOL!! Speaking of spoiling the family with home cooking, I cook daily, too. It is rare that we pick up or eat out. In our little town there are very few restaurant chains and most are mom & pop type. The nearest metro area is 50-100 miles away...lol. Tomorrow is grocery shopping day so I need to make up a meal plan first. Cooking at home does allow one to make the meals a little healthier. Get in another one of those awesome workouts today!!

Hi all, I finally got that run in! I have to do another tomorrow (loooong run, I'll be out for about 2 hours) before I travel on Sunday. Hotel gym and eating out will have to suffice next week!

Update: I did end up working outdoors in our woodland area for approximately 160 minutes which I did log into MFP and on Sparkpeople.com.

ctpeace: have a good trip and glad to hear you were able to get in a run.

    Okay

Day 5 P90x lean - Back and legs 58min done....

I did all I could by my Pull Ups are WEAK... embarrassingly so :embarassed: - Because to see my arms from all the push ups ... they don't look half bad.. I can't pull myself up over that bar though... uggh.. ( my new challenge is to do these unassisted..no chair)

I know my calfs are going to be sore the calf raises are no joke..

NewAgainPam: Good job... being in the yard is Work..I'd log it too, it is assisting in you having everyday activity..

I took the kids for a hike. The trail was finally snow free and we got a nice 3 hour hike in before it started to rain...which turned to snow by the time we got home. More snow shoveling for tomorrow I guess!

I did paperwork for about 8 hours today. I don't usually do that much paperwork. Most of my job is spent in direct service. The kids (my clients) were out for spring break. So I got a lot done. Then after work, I went to my in-laws. And now we are visiting with them and some other members of my hubby's fam (I snuck off to check in on here). So no exercise today but I did move our camper to a different spot so I got some activity doing that. :)

newagainpam and hurdi: I don't cook every meal but I try to cook as much as I can. My hubby really likes a homecooked meal too and with him not working it is easier on the wallet than eating out.

ctpeace: Are you training for a race?

Well, hope everyone had a good day!

mycrazy8s---more snow?!?! You are one tough cookie, b/c I'd be goin' crazy in that kinduv environment!! I guess I found the right place for me in Greece.

Pam--if you have a yard to work in, then go for it! It is a very rewarding workout. (Living in the city stinks, but at least we have a lovely public forest behind our home, that's well-maintained for us. )

Toni--I have a goal on my profile wrt pull-ups and I've yet to do much of anything about it (plus, I've not been working on my push-ups either--so guilt is becoming overpowering). The park where i run has fitness equipment, including assisted pull-up machines and I've been a fool not to use it everyday--but that's about to change! From now on, I'm gonna hit the pull-up machine at the park! If I can ever get myself up, DH has a pull-up bar for me to practice. So, I have no excuses!

ctpeace Carley-way to go with that run!

Ashley- way to check-in! Hope your camping was nice. My family used to camp for vacations when I was a kid. I have so many great memories from those times.

jessmart- what a burn!!! Turbo Fire is supposed to give amazing results, and with burns like that, I can see why. Way to go!

Partners, we have six acres of land to upkeep and 1 acre is wooded. It is not unusual to see deer grazing and jack rabbits hopping around like crazy...LOL! Tending to our veggie garden, trees, and grape orchard does give me the extra outdoor activity. Funny thing, when we lived in the city I never did outdoor work and we had a good-sized yard....LOL!
