    I will post my losses each Monday and I know we can make it to goal! Any suggestions on exercise equipment to have at home? Considering getting something like a rower...It is so hard fitting in time to excerise with kids to watch so I can't just take off for a run or a walk.


    I love using turbofire, its really annoying at first because you have to learn all of the terminology but once you get use to it its fantastic!! (workout on the tv, using your own resistance, lower body band and a complete body band.) I havent gone to the gym yet, just using what i have around me . (when i did go to the gym to train for biathalon i always was on the rower, so fun! It works so many muscles in one go)

    I weight 197 as of today. I had lost some weight without doing anything and gained it all back, and then some, and I really want to be fit and have a more active lifestyle. I don't want to feel self-conscious. I want tobe able to wear dresses and skirts this summer, so I'm hoping this group will help give me motivation and support to keep me on track so that I can achieve just that!

    Thats the spirit, focus on what you want. Positive thinking towards a goal makes your brain work towards the goal without even realizing it. The same goes with negative self talk. If you keep talking down you most likely will do things to sacrifice what you want.

    Ah! I didn't post but my weight yesterday was 179.5... that would make my goal 149 by July :). Going to do my best this time so I won't have to start over again!!

    I know the initial weigh-in is on Mondays, but my office Fitness Challenge weigh-in is on Fridays, and I was down 2.2 pounds this week! Woot! That makes -15 pounds in three weeks. Also, I've successfully done Mon-Thurs without alcohol. Just one more night alcohol-free and I meet my challenge for this week! Woot again!

    I just started measuring i measure agian on tomorrow. I did pretty good with my calories intake and my exercise. I have read up on muscle vs fat and inchese versus pounds. I am looking for to a lost either way. I wont let the scaled define my success.

    Congrats on your weight lost...have you tried Walk away the pounds?...that low impact

    I'm going to use Friday's weigh-in from my Fitness Challenge. There are construction guys at the office blocking the doorway to the room with the digital scale I use. So that's 183.8. Down 5.8 pounds for April, and I won 2nd place in the fitness challenge ($50!).

    I'm switching to my more crappy home scale so that I can do my weigh-in before I shower in the morning instead of at work in clothes on the more fancy scale, so this doesn't represent a completely accurate picture, but ...
