April Goals.....This will be hard for me (maybe)

Its April 1st and time to set some goals for the month. I am going to set the toughest one I have ever done before. I will not weigh myself until May 3rd. Why, do you ask, well I have a few trouble spots (abs and upper thighs) but other than that I think I am looking kinda cute...lol. Also I am trying not to be to obsessed with a number. 160 will get here soon enough and if it weren't for the fact that I must do 300 cardio minutes a week while doing this at work wellness program I would be hitting the weights and getting this body strong and tight. I picked May 3rd because the last day of April is a Wednesday and I like weighing in on Fridays(my day off). This will be tough but I have to refous and get my mind off the scale and start shaping my body. No need to be 160 and loose. I'd rather be 160 and tight if you know what I mean. Ok so I will need the help of everyone to keep me focused and off that scale. Maybe I'll mail it to one of yall...lol. Just kidding. Additional April goals are listed below.

Goals
1. No scale until 5/3
2. Continue 64oz of water a day
3. No slacking on the weekend
4. No late night snacking
5. Love myself

    I Love it Freda....trust me you will be so happy with your results from being off that scale...I been gave up the addiction long time ago....Sounds like you can definitely do it.. I definitely believe in you!!!! I set up my new goals and have to update my profile.... Let's keep preserving the Sexy!! (wink) Love ya

    These are some good goals, Freda!! I have a couple of those goals on my own list too. I will not weigh in until the end of April. I am not as addicted to the scale the closer I get to my goal. I had hid my scale so I can stay off it for a while and pay attention to more important aspect of this healthy lifestyle, lol.

    I agree with being tight and sexy! There is nothing worse than losing weight, and having hanging and flabby skin. The number on the scale is NOT everything. I would rather pay more attention to the fit of my clothes and how firm my body is instead of loose, lol.

    Keep doing ya thing and you will hit your weight loss goal in no time. YOU got this! :flowerforyou:

    Freda these some awesome goals for the month of April I think each month we should all re-evaluate where we are on this journey. As for me I will stay off the scale and weigh in at the end of the month. I am going to focus on putting together a strength training and cardio program for April as my Core area still requires a lot work. I do understand that ABs are made in the kitchen and therefore I am going to focus on a low Carb meal plan and just eating clean. I will continue to cut down on the eating out at Restaurants and trying to eat before 8:00pm. I know that we ALL will achieve great things during this 100daystosummer Challenge. Keep Pressing Towards Greatness Freda.

    My name is Carmen and I am a scale addict. LOL!! I too have a "no scale" goal that I am working very hard to adhere to it. Originally, I wanted to stay off the scale the entire 100 days, and rely on body measurement as a way to track my progress, but I am seriously thinking about weighing at the end of the month to see exactly how my lifestyle changes reflect on the scale. I know it's not about the number, but I want to know that I'm on the right track. Anyway, you have set some great goals and I will update my profile with a couple of new goals as well.
