I just started continuously wearing my LINk since Sunday. When I have woke up in the mornings it shows I have taken steps. One night around 50 last night around 24... Has anyone else had this and know if it's just from moving during the night. I do not sleep walk nor do i wake up (for the most part) to use the restroom at night...

No - mine isn't doing that. Did you set your sleep hours at the site? Or adjust your mets down to something that would be picking up the movement activity as 'steps'.0

Yes I set my sleep time and all... I just looked and it showed the steps between 2-3am... Hmmm0

Well, their help desk is pretty good so look through their website for issues and if you don't find it send them an email. Maybe you are sleep walking and don't know it. LOL - I have discovered that I may have sleep apnea - the doc and I are waiting to see if what we are doing at the moment, and if I lose some weight doing what he has me doing, will change that. If it doesn't, then we will look at doing some sleep studies. So far, it's not changing the issue. I'm still 'awake' for about 2 hours in the middle of the night more nights than not.0

Oh - and another poster said he wore his armband on his calf at night because it doesn't record right. When I contacted them, they said It is designed for a person who spends most of their night on their back and doesn't move much. That's not me for sure. I sleep on my sides or my stomach.0

I get about 10 or so steps at night.0

Oh yeah I'm def not a back sleeper lol more of a stomach or side sleeper that's for sure!! And my chi mix sleeps with me too so I could give a step movement trying to maneuver around when she decides she is uncomfortable lol0

It is rare but does happen to me occasionally. I believe it is from moving around while sleeping.0

You actually had me checking. Last night, I knew I was awake due to a cold. It registered some steps when I was reaching for the kleenex and blowing my nose. The other time, I was up as I went to the bathroom. So, it must be registering extra movement. I still say if you feel it's excessive, then send them an email off their help desk. Any of this, I take with a bit of a grain of salt as its an estimate not the absolute true of my data. But I do feel that for the most part the armband is the most accurate data I can have on my calorie burn. The steps tracking, that's an extra.0
