My ultimate goal is 180 because that would make me under 30 BMI and eligible for infertility treatments. Of course if I'm 180 I may not need the treatments so either way its a win. I have 331lbs to loose before then but I just focus on 10lb increments so that I don't loose hope. So I've got 33, 10lb increments to go!!0

Hi everyone, I'm happy to have found this group.
I just joined the site and don't yet have the nerve to post a photo, but I'm a middle-aged married lady from Connecticut.
I'm 5' 4 1/2" tall and my highest (known) weight was 422.
As of yesterday I was 343. My goal weight may be unrealistic but I'd like to get back to 145 pounds. Of course, right now I'd settle for just being able to buy clothing off the rack.
No structured exercise at this point, I did buy a Pilates machine so I could jog horizontally, but need to be safely under the weight limit before starting, so I don't bend the frame.

My first goal is 250, my overall goal is 190-200. When I get there I might feel differently and want to go lower or higher, as I haven't seen those #'s in 20 years (1993-1994).0

My starting weight was 375, my current weight is 337. I've lost 37 pounds so far
My first goal was to lose 10% of my starting weight and i just accomplished that, my next goal is to get out of the 300's!
I would like to weigh 150 BUT since I’m 5'11 that might be to small... we'll see when I get closer to my goal how I look and feel!!

My highest weight was 401lbs, though I started tracking at the start of the year when I weighed 391lbs and I'm now 372lbs. I would like to get down to 180lbs. Actually, I want to get down to 140lbs but that seems too daunting so I've set 180lbs as my target. I'm 5'5-5'6 so 180lbs will still be overweight, but if I can reach that, I'll be happy. Once I'm there, I'll see if I want to lose another 40lbs.0

Like others have mentioned, I'm SURPRISED and very COMFORTED to know that others have chosen 250 as their goal weight. I too, thought it sounded high but at 5'10 it is what is right for me. I actually lost weight and got down to 266 (14/16 on top and 18 on bottom) and because I have a smaller upper body and face, I looked (to some) a little TOO thin...but my lower body still needed to come down a little more. So what I think is that Im going for a TONED 250.

Hi all!
I am not really sure of my ultomate goal weight as I have never been a normal weight to know what looks good for my body type. As it stands I have it sat at 120-130 lbs based on BMI.
My starting weight was 404 lbs. That is my highest recorded weight. I may have weighed more but I do not know. Do date I have lost 51 lbs. My first goal is to get to 299 lbs. meaning I have around 53 more pounds to go.
I am 5'1, almost 5'2.
I do know that I am taking this 1 lb. at a time.

My goal weight is 149.06 lbs in 3 years. Losing 104 lbs 1st year. I currently weigh 461.06 lbs but I just started last night. I'm 5'8 looking at losing 2 lbs a week.0

I'm 5' 5" My ultimate goal is to be around 150 lbs. My starting weight was 332.8 lbs (1-1-14). So I have a total 182.8 lbs to lose. My current weight is 307.2 lbs. My immediate goal is just to get under 300 I didn't gain all this weight over night. I know it's going to take time so I just take it day by day one step at a time.0

Ultimate Goal is to get below 154lbs again, but I've broken it down into smaller chunks and just focussing on smaller goals like getting below 300lbs, then 250lbs, then below 200lbs, then below 182lbs then 154lbs.
It's taken 8yrs to get from 154 to 392 I know it's go to take a good while to get back down to that weight!

Started at 426, I am wanting to be around 250 to 300 but with a body fat of 18%- 22%. I have really taken to the lifting aspect of working out so I am very interested in making my self stronger and not so much on the number on the scale. This far I have lost 30 lbs. 5 inches on my waist. I am also looking for any one looking for friends its always nice for the support. my wife and I are super dedicated and GOOD Job to all those who posted before me on your weight loss and to the continued slimming.0

Hi all,
I'm 5'9", highest weight was 494, current weight is 466. I am going through medical tests and classes to qualify for bariatric surgery right now (sleeve gastrectomy), hopefully by next month.
My goal is 180, but I would be very happy at 220. At 190, I was a size 9/10. Like many of you, I have a large frame and lots of muscle, so 220 would be fit for me.0 -

My goal is a cute little dress I bought at a thrift store. I boight it to make a purse or bag out of because the material is awesome. I never started that so now...it ia the goal. At least initally. Really, the first goal was to break the 300 mark. I did that yesterday. Next short term goal is 275.

Highest that I/was weighed was 384, I'm 5 ft 8. Lowest I have saw was 253, and felt better then than I do now for sure. Based on what I see for 'normal' range I chose 170 as end goal. Honestly I think seeing a 1 would seem surreal. I think goal weight can changed based on how I feel when I get closet to 2000

Started way over 350, can't say for sure because 1. Didn't own a scale in about 10 years 2. Didn't get one until about 2 years into changing habits (which was last month). Officially I think my goal is 200 but I'd be happy with a little more than that then we'll see how I feel.0
