Splitting headache from jogging?

I attempted week one day one and starting at about the third jogging interval I had a splitting headache close to my neck. Is this a posture or shoe issue, or is it a problem with my neck? I wore old sketcher's athletic shoes(not the shape up kind).

I asked a similar question amongst my friends 2 days ago and they came up with the following ideas:

    1. not enough water, I think that is definitely a topic for me and most people
    2. Pollenallergy starts. I have to figure that out for the future as I have multiple alergies, maybe you have them too.

I ran with sunglasses today, I got really light sensitive lately. It helped me to relax.
And I bought a really good fitting and supporting sports bra, that helps me so much.

Today I did my first run in a week without headaches.

I hope you get rid of it, it is really annoying with the headaches.

If you google it, there's a whole lot of hits. Here's one piece that might be interesting: http://www.runwashington.com/news/965/310/Sports-Medicine-Headaches---Runners-Need-to-Know.htm

However, most people just take motrin before a run.
