I am looking forward to this week because there are no Bank Holidays / Easter slip ups involved at all!! The last week I feel like I was sluggish and couldn't be bothered and I blame all the chocolate and rubbish I ate over Easter weekend!!

I'm sure you'll see inches lost with your lifting. I wish I could join you but I have no access to weights or a gym. Nevertheless I am going to try strength training without weights using resistance bands and also bodyweight exercises. I haven't really found a routine to follow yet to use with my bands but I recently acquired Body By You for bodyweight exercises. Since I will be doing this at home I will still be using Jillian as my warmup.
Monday - Kickboxing + Resistance bands
Tuesday - Yoga Meltdown L1
Wednesday - rest
Thursday - Kickboxing + BBY
Friday - 30 DS L2
Saturday - Kickboxing + Resistance bands
Sunday - zumba0 -
Well unfortunately I won't be doing as planned because my car has broken and I can't get to a gym because my car broke!! So unhappy!!
Oh well JM will have to keep me going!!0 -
Well Saturday, before I got to do my 6W6P workout, I cut my finger pretty bad. I cut it to the bone and actually chipped it a bit. Evidently cutting your finger is more serious than I originally thought. I can not submerge it in water, have to keep it stationary, and I can't put any pressure on it and they also threw me on antibiotics....:grumble: Doc said definitely no weightlifting for at least 10 to 14 days and basically said that walking would probably be the only "safe" workout. :ohwell: They are checking it next Tuesday to see if the sutures are okay to come out or if further things need to be done.... :sad:
I was really bummed out Saturday and still kind of am. I guess after the 10-14 days, I will just start Stage one of NROLFW over. Until then I guess I will be walking and I don't see why I can't pickup and continue on with the SAAC.

Sorry about your finger!! Rubbish about the weightlifting but it's 10-14 days in grand scheme of things not took long!! :-) :-)
You do the right thing to listen to the doc and walking (although its hard to feel like exercise when you r used to what we have been doing) is better than doing nothing :-) :-) so well done!!0 -

So I can't get to gym as planned!! Instead I purchased a new JM DVD - when down turn to Jillian :-) :-)
Extreme shed and shred arrived today so amended my weekly workout and tried level 1 today she says you can do them individually but she would prefer you do the full hour of l1 & l2 and after today I agree it's not as hard as some of her others the moves are easier but I definitely sweat alot!! I think doing both together will be better!!

Wow, that really bites. I'm sorry to hear about your finger. That must be really painful. Take good care of it for a few weeks - don't forget the iodine to make it heal faster.0

Thanks ladies! It has healed up pretty well... I can't feel the entire top of that finger. I don't know if that is temporary or not. Doc said time would tell on what feeling would come back. But I can still feel my finger tip and I can bend it.. I'm just suppose to keep it as stationary as possible while it heals...
The walk wasn't to bad. It was about 45 minutes. I called my mom and her and my youngest brother tagged along with me and my daughter. We all stopped at the park and my daughter had a blast.0 -
