My birthday is next week, and wife asked me what I want for my birthday. Beer is always a good present for me. What suggestions do you have? Lay it on me!

Goose Island Bourbon County Stout
Good idea, especially given his location. Maybe even something from FFF? They're one state over aren't they?0 -
Yeah, FFF isn't far, but my wife wants to surprise me, and they don't distribute out to my western suburb. She's have to drive quite a bit to find a liquor store that carries them. It's a shame, since they're stuff is phenomenal. Same with the Bourbon county, need to get to the city limits before I can find it. Stupid small distribution.0

you tell your woman to get naked and dance around the house with you and drink your faces off with beer.0

SWMBO did this for me last year...
She went to the best beer store around here, told them the kinds of beers I liked and asked them to put together a six pack of not distributed here, rare, or often overlooked beer. It was wonderful.
Otherwise...
Greenbush, FFF, Founders, Shorts, Bell's etc... Ex... Dunegras, Zombie Dust, KBS (yea right like there is any of that left anywhere), Bellaire Brown, Two Hearted etc...0 -
If I get this new job I just interviewed for, I plan on ordering myself a six-pack of Westvleteran XII from a Belgian supplier for my birthday.
Should run me about $300 bucks...0 -

That looks like a pretty good list there. I had Shorts Aorta ale recently and thought it was solid. Greenbush just put Doom Slayer in bottles, I really like that one too.
KBS had long lines everywhere here in Wisconsin, I simply skipped it this year as I think Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Stout is 98% as good with 0% of the hassle and at probably half the cost. Though it will be probably on tap next week for Miilwaukee Beer Week, so maybe I can get a small snifter of it then.0 -

Wow, the price must have gone way up. I bought mine 6pk of Westy 12 for $150 just two-three years ago. And I got one in the states just recently for $85 (with two glasses).0 -
I'd love to try it as quads are some of my absolute favorites but I have a hard time paying $25 for a beer much less $150.0

Tomorrow is my birthday. Going to be a crazy busy day, but I'm hoping to crack open one of my bottles of KBS before the night is over...0

Happy Birthday ViperMan! Hope you have a great day and that KBS lasts long on your taste buds! :drinker:0

Happy Birthday to all the beer drinkers!
