This is all so new to me! I figured my TDEE to be 2200. Now...do I eat this everyday or only on exercise days? (This TDEE is with moderate exercise.)

Also, I set my macros to 40/30/30. As long as I don't go over on my macros and stay at my calorie goal can I eat whatever I want within reason? I don't eat processed food BUT I will admit my kids' easter baskets have been calling my name!

What about alcohol? Can I still have a few drinks as long as I log every single drink?

Thanks!

That TDEE was based on weekly exercise averaged back out to a daily level, so you eat the same daily.

Balance is good, especially if body is already under stress, bad food choices may add to that stress.
Many go for the 80/20 principle, 20% of daily calories can be not great things, as long as it allows you to meet your calorie goal first, protein goal second, fat goal third.
    Gotta log it.

Nothing is banned. The whole idea of EMTWL is to eat normally, and that includes treats, wine, beer and all the bad things.
The key is learning moderation and making them fit into your macro goals.
That said, even if they fit into your macros, you arent likely to lose weight if you have 3 glasses of wine everyday:) So you still have to learn moderation and "treating" yourself. But I do find that now when I have something that most people would consider "bad", it doesnt make me feel the slightest bit guilty about it. It fits my macros. I make it work.

Its unfortunately the people on Low cal diets, who seem to think you are "bad" if you include these things in your diet. Everything in moderation. And the good thing is, by eating more, most find they dont crave the junk stuff like they used to on low cal diets..Ive been doing this a year now, and outside of TOM where I crave chocolate... I dont have any cravings for crap anymore.. thats a huge deal
