Restarting to run faster?

I completed C25K a while back but I am no where near being able to run 3.1 miles! Maybe 1.5 tops! I am a slow runner :)

Has anyone else restarted this to run for distance? The app I use I don't think gives me an option.

    You know if you have completed the C25K and are still trying to add both speed and distance, I would consider B210K for you. I think you would really benefit from it.

    Maybe when I am done that, I will be able to run a 5k ;)

    When I used the SmartCoach program at Runner's World, I found that they advise running about 7 miles per week before working on speed. Build up your base by adding a little to your runs each week.

    And join us on the Bridge to 10k board as we figure this out together.
