How sore is too sore?

I had a super rough MT class yesterday, and got the living crap kicked in my leg (right outer calf). I'm not bruised, but it hurts to walk, a little swollen, and feels like a bad *kitten* leg cramp. I'm not worried about it, but when you do get kicked like that, do you push through your work outs the following day , or give it a break?

give it a break for sure !

or you could make it worse and need to take longer to let it heal

do you have any liniment to apply? My MY gym sells the thai liniment in the yellow bottles which helps a lot with aches. Arnica cream is also great for bruises.

I soaked in a epsom salt bath, and that helped. I just haven't been kicked that hard before, so I think I wasn't used to it. I'll have to check out that liniment ointment though !

I always found that a good Dit Da Jow worked pretty well. I used it while working on Iron Palm.
