I struggle with these due to the arthritis in my knees. Because of the weakness in the joint, I'm not sure I am doing them correctly. Can you describe the proper form for a lunge and possibly post links or pics if you have any handy?

I've hurt my knees from lunges and squats some time ago. Turns out I was doing them wrong - your front knee(/s)are supposed to never go past your toes.0

Thought I'd seen it done that way. I'll make adjustments. This probably explains why it's so hard on my knees. I seem to get inflammation every time I try.
I'm thinking I probably confused it with a step exercise. Doing a Google search, I see people doing it with a step, but not a bench. The bench is probably too high for that exercise, eh? LOL!0 -

Yeah, I would try regular lunges and see if you're having the same pain.0
