Recipe - Smoothie

Everybody has a favorite Smoothie recipe. I wanted one with a higher lean protean content. I recently discovered that cottage cheese is a good source of lean protean and I can disguise the taste. I like it.

1 cup of frozen raspberries.
1/2 cup of 1% cottage cheese.
1/2 cup or Low fat almond milk.
Blend it all together with an emersion blender and enjoy.

Of course you can use your favorite fruit and fresh fruit is great! vary the amounts to taste. I sometimes add water or throw in a couple of ice cubes to thin it and make it more like a shake.

Hmm, wonder if I could use coca beans to make it chocolate.

    I do something a little similar and use yogurt and protein powder to ensure high protein.

    1/2 cup - no fat plain yogurt
    1 cup - mixed frozen fruit
    1 scoop - whey protein powder (vanilla)
    Total calories = 190
    Total protein = 20g
