This week has been tough! I have been getting in my minutes but I switched from a bodybugg to a fitbit. The fitbit automatically adjusts my calories but I have to join a forum on how to enter in activities without double dipping. Funny thing is I went to the McKinley monument to walk the stairs one time just to see how many floors it would count for. Walking up all those steps the fitbit counted it as 8 floors!!! My goal is 10 daily so if I ever get behind and the weather is nice enough I can run over to the park two minutes from my house and climb the steps!
Does anyone else have a hard time with PMS? I notice it is hard to keep my appetite under control. I don't think I've ever found a method that works except maybe exercising more to offset the food. Anyone have any suggestions? I hope everyone is having an amazing week!

Hi Lissa, I have a fitbit and really love it.You just need to enter the time of your exercise which pops up when you add exercise. Sorry about dealing with the time of month (TOM) stuff, it really sucks. I don't have to worry about that anymore, the one good thing about getting older..lol. Take care..Wanda0

Hello Thursday ladies!!!
I have not broken down and gotten a fitbit yet. I HATE tom, and am waiting to hit that age like wendy (I am getting close!!!!)
Melissa, I admire you doing all those stairs! so good for you! My knee has been awful all month. No more zumba for this girl!0 -
Great job Melissa wth the stairs! and a great idea. good luck with your new fitbit, i hear alot of good things about them.
Hope your knee gets better soon Alana! Its great you been able to do Zumba...i'm still not cordinated enough..lol (no one would ever guess i was in cheerleading and danced alot in highschool, i don't have the moves anymore - HAHA)
But also looking for ideas on TOM craving, last month about killed me and i'm not used to having to deal with it, (PCOS) but my hormones have decided to be on the normal side since hitting the 25 lb loss.
Happy Almost Friday!!!!0 -
I don't have a fitbit or anything either but hearing many people with them that love them. I can't do stairs with my knee. I bought some glocosimine tabs but don't know if I should try them. Great job on the stairs!
I am also with you Deanna on I dont have the moves for anything like zumba. I wish lol I would be lost looking.
On PMS I crave chocolate and salt and more salt! What has been working for me since I can't have all that yummy salt anymore I try and trick myself with something else. Like instead of chips some special K sour cream chips. For chocolate I drink chocolate waters for the taste of some. So far so good. It probably won't work forever but its atm. Exercising usually makes me feel better if I skip it I feel like a bear now.0 -
l @ looking lost! that's exactly it too! even felt i looked like that trying the belly dancing, but the moves were more closely realated to the walk at home so i hung in there the few times i tried - prolly looked all stiff and militant tho - hmm...glad i don't excercise infront of a mirror - i would be laughing more than excercising...lol...but still its fun to try!
my TOM weakeness is pizza - it boy do i struggle with the temptation when its here.0 -
Great job with the stairs! My knee has been giving me trouble for the past few weeks and since my new doctor can not see me until June, I started with a new supplement ( I usually use move free advance but I found something through Puritan's pride that was cheaper) so I'm hoping that within the next week I can get moving a little although I have been tempted to go to the gym and ride the exercise bike. I read your posting after scarfing down several unhealthy items today because I have PMS and my appetite is out of control.0
