Hi all - I am not new to myfitnesspal - I've been on here for over a year now and have lost and kept off over 20 pounds and am looking to lose about 20 more. I've been in the same 5 pound range for several months now and just bought a Bodymedia Fit to see if I can get some insight that will help me with the last 20 pounds. Looking for information from other BMF users....I typically have been eating around 1400 (my BMR per several calculators) up to 2000 some days....the BMF has me at a daily target of 1800 calories. I exercise regularly - usually CrossFit 2-4 times per week plus some running.
Please share how the BMF has been helping you with your weight loss goals - are you moving more because you're more aware? Are you consistently eating the BMF daily target # (and if so, what are your protein/fat/carb macros)?
Any other tips or suggestions?
Thanks!!!

The BodyMedia armband will make you more aware of everything you're doing. I have a desk job and only would get about 5,000 steps a day unless I made time for exercise. Now with BodyMedia, my goal is 15,000 steps a day. It challenges me and helps me loss weight. My first week with BodyMedia, I lost 7 lbs when I usually would lose 1 - 3! It really works well!0

Mine gets me up and moving. I see where I'm at around dinner and plan for a 500 calorie deficit and am losing consistently. I know that if I want a treat or to just eat more, I have to move more. I was shocked to lean that a day of work (in an office) burns about 2,000 calories and days home with my toddler doing house work and errands burns more than 2,600. My job is making me fat!!0
