Yay I can't believe it I'm starting to believe I can actually run!!! Wow. Have always hated running -all the shaking of body parts and pain in lungs (enjoyed swimming/ cycling /bodyboarding/ rowing) but now I'm beginning to master it. What a feeling! My self esteem is increasing with each session. Woohoo:love:

Me too! Me too! Both the shaking body parts and the breathing. Isn't it amazing? It's such a gift! I'm happy for you (and your body parts will stop shaking soon as well).

Haha thanks for comments! I managed wk5 3 today it was tough, as anticipated. At the time I told myself I could do it and I got through it somehow, almost trance like! I can feel it in my muscles now, tired but in a good way! I'm sure looking forward to less 'wobble' more aerodynamic joggin! Bring on week 6.....

That trancelike state is when your body is making the most gains. There's a good possibility you'll find yourself a little faster during your next run.

I did week 5 day 2 tonight and I actually felt really good! I can't wait to do day 3 on Thursday. I never thought I would say this, but I think I can do the 20 mins straight if I really put my mind to it.

Wow I'm so with you on the psyche part- I felt the same about my body hoped my legs would stay inline with my determined mind!! I hope your 20 minutes went/goes well! After that run my legs ached the next day for the first time since the program (in a good way) and after completing W6 W1 yesterday I'm starting to feel stronger and feel like a 'real' runner! YAYYY good luck:wink:
