    Good Morning!

I am soon heading to church, and then our sunday tradition is to do lunch at my mothers. We have been married for almost 24 yrs (can that be???) and we have not missed too many Sundays. Wowsers. Sometimes if she is having something calorie unfriendly I will make a salad and have that with some chicken. Today is a spiral ham....will be glazed and full of calories. Lol And sodium. With all the fixings. They had Easter Dinner at my house, and said that she would cook her Easter ham another weekend....so I guess this is the weekend.

Hopefully I will be running this afternoon, thats my plan. Seems to be breezy out there and is a balmy 7*C (which I think is about 44*F). Not time for the tank tops yet I guess.

    Morning everyone

I believe I have a muscle spasm or sprain I am trying to stretch it out. Its very uncomfortable so I won't be getting a good workout in yet again :-( so frustrated. I believe I might of been a little ambitious on those chair flys but I am thinking quite a few of P90X moves could of contributed. The punching routine in KempoX, well I hope everyone has a great day keep up the good work.

Maureli- Congratulations on 24 years of marriage that is wonderful... and a great accomplishment.:-)

    Good Day Sunday Everyone!

Toni: I was going to inquire about your back and it does sound like muscle spasm or sprain. I would tend to agree about some of those P90X moves caused the issue with a part of your back. Did you get some suggestions on how to relieve the spasm? You can try just resting that area and using a creme called Biofreeze (the scent quickly disappears) which worked wonders for me. There was only one time when I had to seek medical attention because the discomfort became painful and effected my movements. I was prescribed muscle spasm meds and took those for 30 days which worked. Also, I purchased a Foam Roller which was painful to use on the effected area initially but it DID loosen things up, too. Take it easy with those P90X back exercises or don't do them at all until your back is back to normal.

Maureli: LOL...you are like my sister who has been eating Sunday dinner at her MIL for the past 24 years!! She has know idea what it would be like to eat Sunday dinner at her own home... Enjoy that great meal and family today!!

    Have a great day everyone!!

Went to Medieval Times last night and had a blast with my daughter, she said best bday ever (she is only turning 6) so that is a plus.

Maureen: sounds like a nice Sunday tradition, even if there are too many calories involved.
Toni: take it easy...activity can help to heal/ease some things, but don't overdo it.
    Pam: Happy Sunday to you!
Jess: that sounds like a wonderful birthday!! Wish you were my mommy!  You are so good & consistent in your workouts. You are a good influence!!

My Sunday was a "roadtrip" with my son out to the country (actually towards the coast) to have a "playdate" with one of the little girls he models with. She's so stinkin' cute and sweet!! Her whole family is wonderful and we had a great time and it was very nice to get out of the city. It took awhile and involved a delish lunch and now I'm looking at not having dinner until 11pm! :noway: Obviously, no workout today. Gonna hafta hit it hard tomorrow!!

Great job checking in everybody! Love readin' what's up with y'all! Seeya tomorrow!

By the way, May is looking rather full for me (Hunger Games Challenge, Spring Break, Greek Easter), so it would be lovely if there might be another group member interested in doing the month of May daily thread starters. Anyone interested?

I usually do them a week at a time, with tidbits of inspiration that I find either on facebook or Google image search. But if anyone is interested, you could certainly do it HOWEVER YOU PLEASE.

This weekend I did not workout. Saturday morning, I missed Zumba because my daughter woke up at 5, when I finally got her back to sleep I was too tired to wake to workout so I slept until she woke up again. Then this morning I got my hair done, it's not a good excuse at all, but I didn't want to sweat my hair out on the first day. I know, bad excuse, but I do think I will do some of JM strength moves this evening since I have them memorized. Tomorrow I will be back on my game. I hope everyone has had a great weekend and completed some excellent workouts.

Hello Family; i know its been a while but i didn't fall off the wagon. still worked out and ate healthy 90% of the time. Walked to the mall yesterday before heading to a buffet :) its was my cheat day.

Sheery: i wish i could take u up on the offer. am afraid i'm not consistent or artistic but if noone else takes you up on it, i'll get the thread started it just wouldn't have the cool inspirational quotes and pictures.

Maureli: CONGRATULATIONS! 24years! What's the secret I celebrate each year like we made it through a decade lol! You hear about so many divorces so any successful year is a HUGE celebration to me. like whew! we made it another year lol.

teetee: Thats ok, i understand the hair thing lol. I feel that way about my bangs every time i work out.

Toni: take it easy! and speedy recovery!
