Tony I hope you can take the time to answer my questions.

I hope to reach my initial goal of a fifty pound weight loss this week. I am one pound away from this goal. Now that I am almost there, I'm not sure what my final goal should be, and what my calories should be when I get there.

I am thinking another 10 pounds, maybe more, but not sure. My stats are 5'9"+ female. Medium frame, I think, again not sure. I am 54 and active some days, somewhat sedentary others. I have been losing on 1200 calcs. Usually with one day in the week, maybe an additional 400 calc.

Can you offer some guidance on my ultimate goal weight? And your opinion on daily calories to maintain that weight?

Thanks

Oops, current weight 170

Once you get to your goal weight, maintain your current calories for a couple of weeks, just to let your body adjust. Then start slowly adding in extra calories, like 25 per week, so 100 per month, and monitor your weight. Your weight should become stable and you'll find maintenance. Expect to gain about 3 pounds in water weight from eating more again.
