Goal and rewards

I set my goals and rewards but I'm wondering what some others are some of mine I'm not realy into. I moved away from any rewards being food related.

I have a 5# which I hit then lost it again.. but it was read a book (I had gotten super busy and never had time made time)
5% goal which will be 8.5# I'll cut my hair
10# color my hair
15# New shoes
10% which is 17# Day at the zoo (hoping I do this before it gets cold again)
20# one day of NOTHING no chores no cooking for others just doing nothing
15% or 25# Mani/Pedi
30# some REALLY good jeans that fit amazing!

I'm not sure I want to try for lower than this but if I do go any lower than that my husband will be planning a weekend trip

I'd really like to make my rewards a big fat cookie but that will get me away from the next goal.

Thanks for this post!! I also set goals and rewards as well. Though some are food related (which may need to follow your lead on this one lol). Some rewards is buying clothes (even though probably have to anyway if I meet my goal as current clothes will be to big) or treat myself to my favorite sweet (piece of homemade cake) but this is far from happening.... I will need to think of some more reward to reaching goals.

I love rewarding myself - I used to do it with food but this time I bought a new bathing suit in a smaller size....come summer it better fit cause it is the only 1 I have and I would hate to miss out on the pool. I am trying to loose 25 lbs by July when I see my family again in NY -

I like that alot of your rewards are inexpensive, I had rewards before, but when money gets tight I drop them, so I'm going to be inspired by you, and I think mine will go something like this: (Hubby or family being up to watch kids assumed ;)

25 lbs - a healthy meal where, I choose whatever I want to eat and hubby serves me
    30 lbs - mani/pedi or a day of reading/ no housechores
35 lbs - movie of my choice
  • I'm going to St Georg Island in October. If I can reach my goal I want a swim suit that doen't look like a granny dress. Just something attractive for a change. So my reward treat is a new swim suit, and maybe a few short sets. :glasses:

I like the island reward but that is out for me.

I like incgurley have to have something that I won't drop when money is no where to be seen. I think I'll add the movie in and take something else out. I'm not sure what I'll flip but I think a date night with a movie and my own rice cakes is better than thier popcorn but it will be at a 3d movie that I will laugh till I ALMOST pee my pants. My youngest is 14 but we love the kid movies ... I bet we watched 60 times or more how to train your dragon.

I'm excited, I'm either going to add it in to my goals or set a really hard month goal and if I meet it do it then.

My rewards use to always be food and anything I lost I would gain back because I wanted another treat even though I had lost my goal.
