Exercise selection/ how much to cut?

On average I exercise 6-9 hours a week.
I have 50-60 more to lose.
I'm a nursing mom.
Should I cut 15% and put moderately active?

Well, 1 hr of walking is not the same as 1 hr of lifting as 1 hr of running.
Obviously 6-9 hrs weekly falls under Very Active 6-7 hrs rounded up.
After you get your TDEE and 15% cut, then you add back on nursing calories.
Or use the spreadsheet to get better estimate of activity, and as mom, the fact your daily activity is probably not a sedentary desk job to begin with, so starting at lightly active with exercise pumps you up even more.
Depending on the exercise too, just be clear, frequent and intense exercise is a stress on the body.
Diet is a stress.
Other life stresses.
Stress will mess with hormones and fight fat and weight loss.
Is all that exercise for training, or merely to burn calories to lose weight?
If that, it's actually counter-productive.
You'd get more bang for your time with less exercise, but have some intense (lifting), some recovery level (walking/slow jogging).0 -

I lift and do insanity and walk that's what the time comes from.

Yes you should, it just doesn't count as much of course, because it doesn't burn as much.
If you are going for rough ball-park figures, then roughly walking is worth half the time you spend in the TDEE levels.
So 10 hrs of walking would be equal to 5 hrs of weekly exercise in the TDEE level - Moderate.
2 hrs is worth 1 hr towards those descriptions.0
