First thing the doctor said is that he is VERY PROUD OF ME! This is incredible because in the past he has lectured me on losing the weight and exercising. I have been seeing this endocrinologist since 2007.

A1C is 6.0 (previously 8.1, 8.4)
Weight is down 15 lbs since last appt.
Blood pressure is 102/62 | Pulse 68
Reducing Lantus at night (from 50 to 46 units)
Reducing Novolog on sliding scale by 2 units at each meal (had already reduced it by 3 units at each meal).
Stopping one Blood Pressure medication
Iron and Vitamin D low, so putting me on OTC Vitamin D and prescription for iron.

I know that we will be tweaking things more as I continue to lose the weight. I see him again in July!

Just want to get this down so I can compare in 3 months! :)

    Excellent well done,

Of all those figures it is the blood pressure I find the most impressive.

    Keep it up.

Your A1c is down that is excellent. When do you get the results from your glucose test?

I'm not sure what you mean. My doc only tests A1C and then I test my glucose 3-5 times per day.
