Nearly had a binge again....

So I'm currently day 5 into my 50 day binge free challenge. Nearly had a binge again this evening.. it was all healthy food, all beans, and rice.. however, i just noticed myself coming home, seeing the food ( knew i wasn't hungry) and just eating mindlessly because it was there..and once i started i kept going. didn't eat huge portions or anything but more than i should have. it wasnt a binge full on, but it could have gone that way.
So i left the house went for a walk and had cigarettes to take my mind off it. Not the best way to cope with it i know but had to do something
I have since lost the urge to binge and am glad i stopped when i did
Probably sounds like a useless post to add on here, but i felt like i needed to tell people who an understand, and just talk about it, to help with the recovery process. glad i stopped when i did, but nervous now that it might happen again
anyway sorry to rant like this, but needed to get it offmy chest
stay strong everyone we can conquer this

The important take away...YOU STOPPED YOURSELF!!!! Good for you. I am working on day three binge free, I have a little app on my phone that tells me how many days binge free I am so I am hoping that motivates me to NOT reset it to 0 again.0

What's the name of that app? I'd like to get it....I wonder if they have it for Kindle Fire.
Good job on stopping a potential binge....day five is great...I'm on day 4. Keep up the good work!0 -
thanks guys, i'm chuffed. day six today. I think i probably ate fairly decent quantities at each meal today, more than usual.. but the most important thing i am telling myself, is to have three good meals a day, and just leave the table after that. little victories all add up, although it is difficult with many temptations around every corner.

dladisheff - It is really a widget in my phone...it is like the opposite of a countdown calculator, It is just a number on my screen on my phone so in the event anyones sees it they won't see BINGE FREE...they just see a number...no need to advertise to the world right0
