The way I view myself...

Friday night I had a date with my husband. I wanted to look nice (it had been a really long time since we went out alone since we have two young children). I went to the mall to find a cute outfit. Nothing looked good in my eyes. My problem area is my stomach. I have thin legs, my arms are slimming down, but my damn belly is on my nerves. Everything made me look pregnant or just didn't fit right. I tried this one dress on at Forever21 and settled for it because it was the only thing that didn't make me want to just cry. I took a picture of it on me in the fitting room and sent it to my sister. She was LOVED the outfit. I was looking at myself in the mirror and liked the idea of the outfit but man, I was ripping myself a part. I found every part of my body that just didn't look right. I bought it anyway and went about my life.
We had a great evening together. It was long overdo to just be out alone and to reconnect.
Then next day I looked at the picture and thought to myself, what the hell? I actually look pretty good.
So is the picture lying? Why can't I accept the fact that I might of actually looked good?

It's a good thing that you are hard on yourself it will keep u dedicated but don't let it keep you depressed, recognize your emotions but always trust the FACTS. I mean measurements, the jeans that u want to get into, those sort of things. Yea it sucks but keep working and be proud of yourself!! Hell you do look good!0
