Is there a recommended minimum for varying sweat/activity levels?

I'm usually around/under 1500mg a day and feel fine but wondered if there was a good range? I do Strong Lifts 3x a week and occasional cardio these days, so it's not like i regularly sweat buckets or anything.

My opinion* is that focusing on sodium is missing the forest for the trees, that is, if you're not eating a lot of processed foods, I wouldn't worry about it. If you are eating a lot of processed foods, you've got bigger problems than just the sodium.

*To re-iterate: this is MY opinion, based on my post-grad work in broscience.

    ^ I agree with this.

I don't, generally, eat much processed food. I do eat some, because it's more convenient than complete scratch cooking. I'm not worried about my intake except in so far as making sure I get enough on my lowest days.

I wouldn't worry about that either, unless you're having symptoms that indicate an electrolyte imbalance.
