Am I the only one that was thinking WTF when I got to discs 3 and 4 in Phase 1?! Wow, I'm scared for what she has in store in Phase 2 and 3!

I know they seem tough, but after a couple of attempts it gets easier. Trust me, I was on the floor thinking I'd have to give it up after my first go at workout 4, but by the end of week 4 I was a pro. It can be tricky learning new moves at the same time as challenging your strength and conditioning!
All of the workouts are difficult at the beginning, it's how the program was designed! No use getting 'comfortable', as Jillian says, because without the continuous challenge we'll plateau and stop seeing changes. I've started Phase 2 now and again the workouts seem tough, but going by the previous weeks, they should get better.
(If in absolute agony - remember that it's only 30 minutes and you won't die, so try not to be too scared! Just show up and do your best at each move every time. :P )0 -
By the second week you'll be rocking the moves.
Every workout has been difficult but it's cool to see how quickly strength and conditioning has happened. I find I am not as sore after a new workout like I was in the first month. Also, I find the odd number workouts to be KILLER whereas the even numbers seem a little more tame. Maybe it's just me.0 -
I agree I was like OMG I am so glad today is a cardio day MY ARMS ARE SORE!!! my weight has not moved this week yet so I hope I see a change in the scale soon!0

I felt the same way, and yes, you'll feel that way every time you pop in a new workout for the first time  It's just the way Jillian does it. You should seem some improvement by the third or fourth time through, but don't worry if you don't! I actually repeated a week of Workouts 5 & 6 because by the end of them I still didn't feel ready to move on. An extra week was exactly what I needed and by the end I was itching to put in the new workout. Take it at your own pace. Just because it's a 90 day program doesn't mean you can't stretch it out.0

i did the same. when i first got JMBR i looked at the last few workouts and cardio 3 and nearly crapped my pants, but cardio 3 and phase 3 became my FAVORITE parts when i finally got to it. you'll get there.0

Thanks for the encouragement! I know it will get easier. And if I feel like I need to do one more week of certain workouts I have no problem doing that. :drinker:0
