Howdy all. My name is Robin. May 8 will be 1 year that I have been on MFP, and what a year it has been! I started at 388 pounds. Just before Christmas, I had gotten down to 330. Unfortunately, I let life's stresses get the better of me, and I lost touch. I gained back up to 347. About 2 1/2 weeks ago, I started back up and dropped 4 pounds the first week back. Not sure if I have lost anymore, because I am holding off on weighing in until I reach my 1 year mark.
For those just starting out, it is hard!!! I thought that the diet and exercise would be the hard part. I was wrong. It is the emotional part. The not feeling confident in yourself yet. The getting down because you can't see the changes. The possible change in some of your relationships, as you make changes in your life. It is hard. But it is worth it. I regret the few months time I lost, but it has helped me put things back into perspective. I WANT this. I NEED this. I WILL have this.

Welcome back! It's always good to get someone back to the family! I'm sorry to hear that you hit a rough patch. Unfortunately that's part of life. But regardless I'm glad that you got back on the horse.0
