I had to see a doctor over trying to get my weight to go down because I wasn't sure what it was I was doing wrong, seems to be working for me now. I was just told to decrease my sodium, Huh that easy huh? Lol nope. I didn't think it would be as hard as "don't eat too much salt." What have you guys done or are doing/plan on doing with your diets to help your weightloss goals? If you guys have changes anything at all.

For me it is just watching my calories and the big one was cutting out soda, unless I can't get diet for my mix0

I just started walking every day. Some days I have walked for two hours. It has really toned my lower body and makes me feel much better. You need to combine exercise with calorie reduction to get the best results but lately I have been really bad and have been eating biscuits and chocolate so I really need to get back on track. The weather hasn't helped as it has been much colder than we expect down here. This group might be just what I need to get back on track.0

Trying to keep the carbs lower ( I try to stay around 120 grams a day). I don't eat meat, so I'm always working to ensure
I get enough protein. I've cut out beer and have been really focusing on water. So, I'm off to a good start!0 -
That's a good point about watching the sodium.
I'm trying to drink more water -- it flushes out salt and jumpstarts the metabolism. I drink a lot of coffee, but hardly any plain water, so I've got to change that. I plan to buy a pitcher today and keep it in the fridge with a few slices of lemon.
I started walking a lot a month ago and have lost 11 pounds overall (5 since I joined MFP mid-April). I just started C25K yesterday and hope I can learn to run.0 -
Mine, I've been told to watch fat by my doctors. It isn't easy but MFP will help you learn how to control what you need to. Also, trying to drink lots of water and exercise slightly before meals so it speeds up the metabolism. ♥0

I need to be more careful about food prepared by others - I've been glutened and ingested dairy accidentally 2-3 times just this past week alone and it messes me up inside for days after. :-( So my food goal is to tighten up on that. I need to stop assuming people listen to me when I order something and "verify" there is no gluten dairy in it and believing what the other person says without checking ingredients for myself.0

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this situation while on there diet. I seem to only see the scale move down on the day after my cheat day. I am on a sort of restricted low carb diet . I try not to have more than a hundred grams of carbs a day. and no more than 40 grams of sugar too. while I am good through out the week I never see the scale move but after my one day of light cheating and eating a bit more carbs , then the next day I will see the scale go down a pound. why does that happen?0
