Any advice, for people on a budget when it comes to food ..

..and exercise?

Subject say's it all really. I live with my boyfriend and we don't have much income and struggle to buy "healthy" food as it is lol.

My advice is to buy fresh items. Avoid anything that comes in a box altogether - you don't need it. Fresh fruits, veggies, and meats. Cook all of your foods. I would make an exception for condiments and canned or tuna in a pouch as a convenience food item. Maybe some granola or protein bars if they are low in sugars.

It's easier to shop this way than one might think!

    bulk?
We buy $15.00 worth of chicken breasts at Sam's Club - they are huge.. we grill some to use for salads, etc and then use the rest for other chicken meals - this week I mad chicken taco stuffing in the crockpot and then portioned it out - 3 breasts made a ton!

also, as said before, buy fresh - lean meats - supplement/add vegetables and you will be more full without the cost!
