I can't quite believe I've finished week 7!!! I can feel my legs becoming more muscular, toned and shaped but found today's run hard. I'm getting through by thinking 'I can do this'- being determined rather than my body fitness I think, wish my body would get in tune with my (so far!) strong psyche!!! I'm just hoping that by acting 'as if' I can jog then I will eventually become aligned with both body and mind... I'm trying so hard to kick my own *kitten*...come on....

    Great job!

I'm sure your mind with catch up with your body. I hope I can get there myself!

Week 7 sucks. It just does. It's a physical challenge and you haven't really had one like this yet. However, it's over and you'll breeze through the rest of the program. Great work!!!

Thanks for that, I was beginning to feel achy and out of sorts to be honest, I've got aches and pains -one knee is a bit clicky & my Achilles' tendon area feels a bit weak on the other side! I last ran on Saturday and normally follow a 1day run 1day rest routine so normally I would run tonight- but not sure i should push my body today as I'm a bit weary! Any ideas.? is it better to push on through new aches & tiredness or is it a sign to rest a wee bit more, ie 1 more day? ...

I'd give yourself the rest, but I'd also predict that your next run will be complete amazing. So don't put it off for too long.
    LOL

(Actually, to tell you the truth, I started over thinking form in week 8, so it wasn't until week 9 that it all came together for me. And then it was incredible)

Thank you... The moment arrived and I decided I'd do a brisk walk... But after looking online (NHS c25k) it said about completing warm up stretches (normal warm up with this APP is 5 min brisk walk) so... I walked briskly for 5 mins, did post warm up new run stretches, walked briskly for another 5mins thinking I'd try running, and see how I felt, I started it then ran for 28 mins!!! Haha no pain and enjoyed it actually! (I put my Achilles ache to a sock/trainer issue so loosened that shoe, and my knee seemed fine after stretching!) Hope I don't regret it tomorrow! Feel great tonight! :drinker: thanks for your support
