I was just diagnosed on April 4, but for about the past year I have been troubled with my feet being numb and at night dealing with tingling, and the feeling that I'm occasionally poked with a push pin! Here is my question, is this a permanant thing I'll have to deal with for the rest of my life, OR as I keep my sugars under control, will my feet heal and reverse the problem?

If you haven't yet had a podiatry check then you should follow this up as a matter of urgency. Foot care is an essential element of diabetes care.0
