Hi everyone.

Ive decided I want to start going by my TDEE rather than my 1900 cal a day MFP calories. I just ordered a Bodymedia Fit LINK and I will use its recommendations for my TDEE.

I have been using MFP for 8 weeks now, I was wondering if it would be okay if I raised my cals at once and start going by my TDEE or should I increase in increments over time?

I dont know why but the last two weeks my weight has been at a stand still when the previous 6 weeks I have consistently dropped 1-2 pounds a week. I think I may be burning more calories than I think and not getting enough calories to fuel my body each day. Is this a plausible explanation of why my weight loss seems to have stopped? Im not dropping inches or pounds. I haven't changed my diet but I did start incorporating more weight training and less cardio.

I am hoping once I start using my Bodymedia Link and going along with the TDEE method I can get back on track and start losing weight again.

Thanks

Change in exercise, especially lifting can cause a stand still. I jumped from 1600 cals to 2200 and it's going well.
