Losing weight, but still not abstinent

Hi fellow OA members, I'm hoping you can help me with something. I've lost about 40 lbs so far, but I know I'm still not abstinent. I'm still overeating and obsessing about food when I'm not eating. I've managed to lose weight by binging on healthy, low calorie foods like vegetables. I feel like I HAVE to have that sense of fullness. Where do I go from here?

I would suggest attending some OA meetings, and reading the literature because its's all about sanity, not vanity. I've been successful at losing weight in the past, but the obsession was still there, so the weight crept back, masked as another underlying issue that I had not addressed. I don't think I will ever lose the obsession, but my life is much more manageable. I just had to accept the realization that I'll always be a compulsive overeater, even after reaching my goal weight.0
