Hi everyone! My name is Joe and I am 6'3" 291 lbs. (304 When I started losing weight) I really need to lose weight and get in shape for a few key reasons. The main reason is that I am getting married in November 2013 and want to look good in my tux, the other reason is that I am going to be a cop, and I need to be able to do things without getting tired fast! Weight loss has always been an issue, since I was 14 or so. Looking for motivation to keep me going! Feel free to add me!

Congrats on the Wedding, great incentive.
Never a better time to start than now. Keep in the mind that not only will you look better in that tux, but you'll feel better.
Do it for you! That is the motivational factor, more of a driving force than a tux, or a job.
You have to want it more than anyone else wants it for you.
Getting active has been my saving factor, and actually having fun.
I mean, I played football in high school, I rode my bike, but I found that I became more and more sedentary as I got older.
Find some activities that keep your heart pumping that you enjoy.
This month I have swam, played tennis, bowled, golfed, played frisbee golf, went to the gym, walked, played racquetball..
And a few months ago I was doing nothing. The first two weeks were the hardest, and now when I wake up, I think, what am I going to do today. Set some long term and short term goals, and focus on those as you are moving forward. Journal your journey.0
